Senior Oracle Db Developer
Job Description
Develop and Maintain PL/SQL Code: Write efficient and maintainable PL/SQL code to support application requirements, including stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
Database Design and Optimization: Design and optimize database schema, indexes, and other database objects to ensure high performance and scalability.
Data Integration: Develop and maintain ETL processes to integrate data from various sources into the Oracle database.
Performance Tuning: Monitor and tune database performance, troubleshoot performance issues, and implement solutions to optimize query execution.
Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with application developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and operational procedures.
Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute unit tests, and support system and user acceptance testing to ensure the quality and functionality of delivered solutions.
Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing PL/SQL code and database systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in PL/SQL programming and SQL. Experience with Oracle database versions (e.g., Oracle 12c, 19c). Strong understanding of database concepts, normalization, and data modeling Experience with performance tuning and query optimization. Familiarity with ETL processes and tools. Knowledge of Oracle tools and utilities (e.g., SQLPlus, Oracle SQL Developer, PLSQL Developer).
Working Knowledge of NoSQL ( Mongo DB ) will be advantageous
