Job Description
Major Responsibilities & Duties performed: 1) Monitor & control Furnace temperature accordance with specified billet temperature, mill utilization remove scales and support furnace Sr. operator and foreman. 2) Operate charging pusher pulpit and peel bar ejector in accordance to Mill Utilization. 3) Troubleshoot and adjust furnace burners (temp.) if problem arise. 4) Record data in temperature monitoring sheet. 5) Operate furnace in good combustion condition. 6) Assist mill attendant for material sampling of mill. 7) Assist unloading of fuel. 8) Ensures that start-up and shutdowns of Furnace, followed as well as auxiliary motors and other automated equipment’s. 9) Maintain the cleanliness of his working area. 10) Follow safety rules and regulations, good housekeeping practices. 11) To keep the provided PPEs in good, workable conditions. 12) To attend safety trainings planned for them.
