JOB CONTENT

1. Role Objective
Account Receivable:
  • Accounts receivable professionals should have a complete understanding of the sales cycle. Revenue is
recorded and it is ensuring that clients are timely & properly billed for goods and services. They work with
other departments to ensure that the timely follow-up is in place so outstanding amounts are collected in a
timely manner They verify and record transactions, resolve account discrepancies, and perform other tasks
to secure client payments.

Treasury:
  • To monitor the activities of the banking function of treasury section, review bank reconciliations and
to ensure transactions are properly recorded on a timely manner in accordance with the laid down.

2. Duties and Responsibilities
Area of responsibility
Account Receivable:
  • Coordinating with other departments to raise Timely invoices with accuracy
  • Attached the required supporting documents with each invoice.
  • Make a robust recovery system for the outstanding payments and initiate collection efforts
  • Follow up on regular basis for the outstanding amount and maintain follow-up records.
  • Monitor customer account for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities and raise
alarms.
  • Obtaining regular SOA from client and performing reconciliations on regular basis.
  • Timely and accurately recording of customer receipts by knocking them off with the respective Invoices.
  • Prepare bank deposit slips.
  • Processing, verifying, and posting receipts for goods sold or services rendered.
  • Providing aging report to the management on timely basis.
  • Ensuring Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete
and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up-to-date.
  • Working with the team to review accounts, client payments, credit history, and develop new or better
payment terms.
  • Generating reports as per management request.
  • Ensure correct/updated bank details are provided to the client.
  • Reconcile Accrued revenue account.
  • Assist with month-end closing.
  • Good Understanding accounting standards specially of IFRS 15 & IFRS 9.

Treasury:
  • To coordinate with banks for receipt of statement of accounts and ensure accounting of all statement
entries including charges on a weekly basis
  • To liaise with Banks for obtaining payment swift message for payment confirmation to
vendors/business units within 1 day from the date of request.
  • To ensure interest credited is as per agreed terms and conditions.
  • To coordinate and liaise with Internal, External and State auditors related to Treasury audits and ensure
no adverse remarks.
  • To prepare Bank Reconciliations (including credit card accounts). On timely manner to assist in month
end closing.
  • Prepare LCs (Latter of credit) applications,
  • Prepare Bank guarantees and ensure it compliance with the company procedures.
  • Maintain facility utilization details and report to the management accordingly.
  • Foresee company\xe2\x80\x99s requirements and necessities and ensure timely liaison with the bank to arrange
credit line accordingly.
  • Ensure timely renewal of bank facilities and reviewing its covenants.
  • To review bank balances on a daily basis and ensure that effective utilization of balances by placing in
call/collection accounts to earn better returns.
  • To negotiate forex rates with banks, charges for high value transactions in consultation with the finance
manager/ director and facilitate all banking activity requirements.
  • To ensure placement/withdrawal of deposits, payment of lease / tender security deposits, organize
repayment of loans on due dates and ensure bank books are properly maintained.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Education & Experience
Bachelor\'s degree in any discipline preferably in Finance/Accounting with 4
years of experience.
\xe2\x9e\xa2 OR Two years college Diploma in Finance/Accounting or in an allied field
with 6 years of experience.

Special Skills & Knowledge:
\xe2\x9e\xa2 Management experience is strongly preferred
\xe2\x9e\xa2 Exceptionally well organized with an aptitude for data
\xe2\x9e\xa2 Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
\xe2\x9e\xa2 Solid networking and interpersonal skills
\xe2\x9e\xa2 Able to generate revenue aging reports
\xe2\x9e\xa2 Strong presentation skills, able to explain concepts concisely and accurately
\xe2\x9e\xa2 Able to develop strong, cooperative relationships with department heads
\xe2\x9e\xa2 Creative thinking skills and ability to solve problems.
\xe2\x9e\xa2 Proficient use and knowledge of technology, including MS Excel and ERP
systems (e.g. SAP, ORACLE);
\xe2\x9e\xa2 Teamwork and organizational skills;
\xe2\x9e\xa2 Sound knowledge about Oman Tax law and VAT law.
\xe2\x9e\xa2 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; and
\xe2\x9e\xa2 Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
\xe2\x9e\xa2 Aviation experience will be an added advantage.
\xe2\x9e\xa2 Proficient in English (Spoken & Written). Knowledge of Arabic or any foreign language would be added advantage.
\xe2\x9e\xa2 Proficiency in MS Office
\xe2\x9e\xa2 Aptitude in showing self-initiative and follow-through
\xe2\x9e\xa2 Excellent planning, organizing, and maintenance skills
\xe2\x9e\xa2 Preference given to ACCA, CIMA, CA, CIA qualified
