ROLE PURPOSE

The role is responsible for encoding and releasing of credit limits relating to credit facilities and ensuring accurate detailing before inputting the same into Bank\'s system. Further, he/she is responsible for complying with all necessary approval terms and conditions under FAB policies and procedures.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Monitoring of customers\' portfolios of the assigned sector / category in terms of limits control / management and proactively highlighting any areas of non-compliance in order to safeguard the interest of the Bank
• Contribute to the development, maintenance, and improvement of Credit Administration framework and operating model. By doing such, the role manage limits/tolerances in line with the bank\'s overall risk while ensuring effective implementation of the same in liaison with relevant stakeholders to support effective management of the bank\'s operations within the defined risk levels
• Ensuring rectification of any discrepancies and action on requests for any closure/suspension of credit limits in the system.
• Monitor and carry out the Central Bank reporting activities pertaining to new additions, deletions and maintenance requests
• Check and maintain a tracker for all exception cases for Classification change on Central Bank reporting system.
• Ensuring the timely identification and reporting of early warning signs of determination and effectively follow-up with relevant business counterparts to facilitate adherence to defined risk levels.
• Ensure all the reports pertaining to Central Bank, Provision and IFRS9 are reported and submitted in a timely manner and flag any issues and escalate to Management.
• Tracking of all original documents and ensuring safe custody of all collateral/security documents.
• Ensuring approval from relevant authorities are checked and executed based on the requests received
• Evaluation of Daily Activity Report illustrating the volume of transactions processed by the Unit and providing a monthly consolidated report to the Senior Management.
• Ensuring all the queries are addressed that are raised by Business/Credit and response is provided in a timely manner.
• Regular Stakeholder meetings to ensure that all queries and concerns raised by Business and Credit control team are discussed and handled properly.
• Regular Team meetings to ensure that the team is updated with any new information and plan the BAU activities and distribute tasks equally among the staff members.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Commerce / Finance or equivalent.

Knowledge & Experience:

• 5-7 experience in Wholesale and Commercial Banking Sector with at least 5 years\' experience in the CAD function.

Skills:

• Knowledge and use of banking software systems, basic PC skills and common MS applications like Excel and Word.

• Good knowledge of English language (both written and spoken). Arabic preferred

• Good knowledge of Bank\'s financial system.

• Very good knowledge of Banking Products / Personal Banking CAD functions.
• Very good knowledge of U.A.E. legal environment & Central Bank regulations.
• Decision making skills, ability to work under pressure, attention to details.
