Support the implementation of policies, procedures, and controls within the IT Infrastructure & Technical Support department, ensuring compliance with global standards and fostering continuous improvement in systems, processes, and practices.
Collaborate with executive management and department leaders to assess both short-term and long-term network capacity requirements.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to network configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.
Lead end-to-end management and execution of Client network and security projects, including technology evaluation, scoping, budgeting, purchase requests, implementation, and day-to-day operations.
Manage and monitor various Information Security technologies, such as Web Proxy, Firewalls, VPNs, Email Gateways, etc., ensuring compliance with Information Security requirements.
Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and training plans for network administration, usage, disaster recovery, and information security.
Design and deploy LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including servers, routers, switches, and other network hardware. Implement zero-trust architecture and micro-segmentation for all cloud services under the Client subscriptions.
Manage Client Azure services and maintain components and systems of Client cloud service.
Maintain Broker connectivity towards the Client through MPLS cloud with Etisalat.
Design, implement, and support firewalls, site-to-site VPNs, and remote-access VPNs. Stay informed about developments in the networking industry.
Maintain telecommunication services systems, including IP voice systems, video, voicemail recording, and billing.
Conduct periodic system checks to ensure the robustness and effectiveness of the Secure Network Environment.
Manage Server RACKs arrangement and connectivity in the Data Center and IDFs on-premises and branches.
Oversee new and existing network equipment, hardware, and software upgrades.
Interact and negotiate with vendors, service providers, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services.
Configure networks to ensure smooth and reliable operation for business objectives and processes.
Conduct proactive preventive maintenance measures and address findings.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot problem areas, and provide 2nd level support for network-related issues.
Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end-user network and telecommunication devices.
Ensure network connectivity for servers, workstations, telephony equipment, fax machines, and other network appliances.
Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation.
Monitor and test network performance, providing statistics and reports.
Participate in managing all network security solutions.
Ensure high availability of Network and Telecommunication services and support business continuity planning through regular failover and DR tests.
Perform network and security audits, and conduct network systems backups and recovery.
Evaluate and recommend new and emerging network and security products and technologies.
Be available on-call to rapidly troubleshoot any problems resulting from changes.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Network or Security Engineering.
