Job Title: Senior Network and Security Engineer

Position Overview:

This role focuses on implementation and support for firewalls, SD-WAN, WAF, ADC, and other network/security related solutions.

:

Offering technical support to customers for systems and configurations Designing and implementing network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks. Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment including but not limited to Firewalls, Load Balancers, Routers, Switches, WAF, SASE/SSE etc., Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security. Provide Proof Of Concept (Demo) for assigned products or solutions Implementation of the products/Solutions in customer site Documenting cases to reflect the actions taken, reporting of problem status and providing solution(s) or workarounds as developed in a professional timely fashion, over the lifetime of the support request. Understand customer systems and configurations, analyze the more technically difficult problems, identify issues and recommend solutions. Works closely with customers and other engineers as well as the Account teams. Setting customer expectations appropriately and accurately. Work closely with principle company engineers to develop workarounds to issues and suggest product changes to accommodate customer needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree/Diploma in an IT related field or equivalent hands-on experience 5+ years experience in the role of network/ network security engineer Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Critical and analytical thinking and creativity Conflict Resolution - ability to resolve problems and complex situations Active listening and empathy - ability to listen and understand users to address their needs Team player - ability to work with a team and influence a positive collaborative culture Ability to prioritize workload appropriately based on the impact on the business

Fortinet/Palo Alto/Checkpoint F5 (ASM, LTM, APM) Cisco Symantec/Netskope AWS/AZURE Understanding
