Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior MEP Design Engineer with extensive experience in Saudi Arabia (KSA), UAE, or wider GCC region, to lead our MEP design team and serve as the key point of contact for clients. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing design, with proven capability in delivering high-quality, code-compliant solutions across Fit-out, Residential, F&B, and Retail projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary MEP design team, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to project timelines. Manage client relationships, attend meetings, and translate project requirements into effective MEP designs. Prepare and review detailed design drawings, schematics, load calculations, BOQs, and specifications for HVAC, Electrical, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, and Drainage systems. Ensure all MEP designs comply with Saudi Building Codes, UAE regulations (e.g., DEWA, ADDC, SEWA and SBC), and international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, BS, IEC). Oversee design coordination with architectural, structural, and interior teams. Conduct value engineering exercises to optimize designs for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Lead technical discussions with consultants, clients, and authorities as needed. Support BIM integration and clash detection reviews when required. Supervise on-site inspections or design validation reviews during implementation phase when necessary.
Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering. Minimum 8 years of experience in MEP design, including at least 3 years working on projects in KSA and UAE. Proven experience in fit-out, residential, F&B, and retail sectors is essential. Strong command of MEP design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, Dialux, Etap, and MS Office. Solid understanding of Middle East authority requirements (e.g., Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, SASO, SEC, ADDC, etc.). Exceptional communication and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:

Membership with engineering bodies (e.g., SCE - Saudi Council of Engineers, Society of Engineers UAE, ASHRAE, NFPA). Knowledge of green building standards (e.g., LEED, Estidama, or Saudi Green Building Code).
