Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable

Senior Mechanical Technician

to lead the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership ability, and a hands-on approach to resolving complex mechanical issues. This role also involves mentoring junior technicians and ensuring safety and quality standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect and diagnose

mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in Caterpillar equipment.

Perform maintenance and repairs

on engines, transmissions, undercarriages, hydraulic systems, and other components.

Use diagnostic software

(e.g., Cat ET) and tools to troubleshoot and repair machinery.

Install, replace, or repair parts

such as cylinders, pumps, filters, hoses, belts, and control valves.

Conduct preventative maintenance

following service schedules and OEM (Caterpillar) guidelines.

Maintain accurate service records

of work performed, parts used, and inspections conducted.

Test equipment

for performance after repairs and adjustments.

Collaborate with supervisors

and other technicians to prioritize work orders and meet deadlines.

Comply with safety standards

and wear appropriate PPE during all repair and maintenance tasks.

Educate operators or clients

on equipment care and usage if required.

Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair

complex mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.

Lead mechanical maintenance tasks

including preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Install and commission

new machinery or mechanical components as per engineering specifications.

Diagnose failures

using technical manuals, drawings, and diagnostic tools.

Monitor system performance

and ensure optimal operational efficiency.

Supervise and train junior technicians

, providing guidance and technical support.

Maintain accurate documentation

of work performed, parts used, and maintenance schedules.

Ensure compliance

with safety standards, environmental regulations, and internal policies.

Collaborate with engineering teams

on equipment upgrades, modifications, and process improvements.

Order parts and tools

as needed, and manage spare parts inventory efficiently.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED5,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
