• Prepare the design of HVAC systems for a wide range of infrastructure and oil & gas projects.
• Produce HVAC engineering deliverables including production of technical reports, written calculations, design briefs, specifications, data sheets, material requisitions, tender bid evaluations, drawings, schedules, contract documentation and the like.
• Responsible for ensuring technical quality, coordination, integrity and cost effectiveness of designs produced.
• Follow design guidelines, standards, and procedures to effectively execute assigned work.
• Interface with other members of the design and management team on multiple discipline projects including with the Global Delivery Centres when required.
• Adhere to assigned budgets and schedules.
• Assist in the preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
• Check compliance with QA/Safety/Environment goals.
• Quality Assurance \xe2\x80\x93 Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Worley Quality Management System.
• Safety \xe2\x80\x93 Responsible for personal safety and implementing safe working practices
• HSE \xe2\x80\x93 Understand and follow OH&S procedures.

QualificationsJob Specific Knowledge:

• Experienced with local and international standards and statutory and regulatory specifications (British, European and International standards and other construction practices).
• Experienced in a consulting engineering environment over the whole lifecycle of a project including concept, FEED and Detailed Design.
• Experienced in the design of ventilation systems
• Experienced in delivering HVAC design. Producing ventilation system design deliverables, i.e., Ventilation Flow Diagrams (VFD\xe2\x80\x99s), Basis of Design (BoD), Plant Sizing Calculations (Heating / Cooling / Fan Sizing) Control Philosophy
• Experienced in delivering Equipment Specifications and Design Assessment Reports.
• Experienced in dealing with a variety of clients including developers, government bodies and EPC Contractors.
• Competent in the use of industry software
• Experience in the evaluation of the condition of existing mechanical equipment, including condition surveys and projected maintenance programs.

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• Experience working in the Middle East.
• Experience in industrial infrastructure projects with design in water, wastewater treatment and pumping stations.
• Experience in port and shipyard projects.
• Experience in the design of HVAC systems
