Minimum Requirements:1. Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed university.2. Minimum of 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry of which at least 7 years being related to design of Offshore with equally good knowledge in Onshore oil & gas facilities.3. Fluency in English Language.4. Conversant with relevant International Code & Standards related to Piping engineering and in general Oil & Gas industry.5. Detailed Hands-on Experience on Static Equipment\xe2\x80\x99s Analysis, Design and Installation Engineering is essential and as a minimum expertise on the following is mandatory:5. Proficiency in Static Engineering & General Software\xe2\x80\x99s such as Well verse in static equipment design code and standard such as API, ASME codesJob Responsibilities: * Conduct feasibility/conceptual studies & in-house engineering for small and medium size mechanical \xe2\x80\x93 Static projects

• Manage projects as Lead Engineer and be responsible for the proper and timely execution of projects ensuring the Department quality management system and any project specific contractual requirements are met.
• Performing basic and detail design for static equipment Responsible for issue of all mechanical deliverable documents such as engineering specification, mechanical datasheet, requisition, technical evaluation, engineering drawing and also reviewing vendor document.

4. To liaise and report to the Client\'s Senior Management on Static Engineering Progress and Issues5. Prepare scope of work for external consultants and EPC contractors for the execution of jobs6. Review the design works and studies performed by the Engineering Consultants and ensure that they are in accordance with the technical requirements and meet the standards7. Review and approve drawings, specifications, and technical documents for all Piping Design related works8. Participate in the technical evaluation of tenders and issuance of recommendations9. Monitor the performance of engineering contractors/consultants & provide necessary design inputs and follow up during the execution of the basic and detailed engineering10. Ensure that the state-of-art technology is applied throughout the engineering phase for cost effective solutions and application of value-added engineering throughout the assigned works11. Participate in the pre-qualification of engineering consultants/vendors and review the bidders list12. Provide input/update Engineering Procedures, Company standards, Technical Specifications, Design Philosophies and Engineering Guidelines13. Participate in site surveys of Company facilities and to establish and identify the actual study/ project requirements.14. Provide technical assistance, coordination and liaise with other discipline engineers within the Company and other business units on all aspects of technical and general requirements15. Impart training particularly to UAE nationals to meet their integration targets.16. Prepare Design Basis, Philosophies and Specifications related to Mechanical Static Engineering.17. Provides resolution for technical static engineering problems, coordinates application of mitigations18. Provide technical leadership and decision making for Static engineering work carried out by the contractors.19. To participate in all project safety and design reviews as necessary20. Trouble-shooting the Static design, identifying and resolving issues with engineering and / or fabricator by raising and resolution of Site / Technical Queries.21. To attend daily / weekly engineering progress meetings and generate status reports as required22. To provide technical assistance, direction, and support during the construction and installation activities in critical issues. (Wherever deemed necessary on call basis)23. Assist construction personnel with general technical queries and details (on call basis)24. Collaborates with construction management (wherever deemed necessary on call basis) on engineering issues to eliminate any hazards associated with the work that may adversely affect the environment or the safety or health of employees in compliance with company HSE .25. To ensure that all work is completed without compromise to quality and is delivered according to the project schedule
