Joining a dynamic team in Dubai, you\'ll step into the role of a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, specializing in HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting design. You\'ll oversee design, manage projects, cultivate client relationships, and mentor junior engineers. Prepare budgets, exercise financial control, and oversee project management activities
Generate concept and feasibility reports, draft tender documents, and bills of quantities
Coordinate tender adjudications and efficiently manage contractual processes
Engineer ventilation systems, pressurization, and pressure cascade systems to meet statutory requirements
Design intricate heating and cooling systems, including chilled water and VRF systems
Plan reticulation systems for chilled water or condenser water
Design condensate drainage, fresh air, and extract systems ensuring functionality and compliance
Select pumps, fans, and duct systems to optimize performance and airflow efficiency
Supervise HVAC designs and services, expanding the client base
Develop standard drawings, provide comprehensive project progress reports
Conduct ongoing training for junior staff and engage with manufacturers and suppliers
Travel to African countries for solution implementation and deployment
Comply with company-issued Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Skills & Experience:
Minimum 7-10 years of design experience in mixed-use chilled water projects exceeding 1,000 TR cooling capacity
Proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting design
Minimum 5 years of experience in design team management
Advanced Revit skills with MEP services
Experience with bills of quantities and coordinating tender adjudications
Familiarity with ventilation systems design, pressurization, and pressure cascade systems
Registered with Dubai MunicipalityQualifications:
BSc, BEng, or BTech in Mechanical Engineering
ECSA registration required (Pr.Eng, Pr.Tech.Eng, CEng, IEng)
Green Building Design qualification preferred
Management Diploma desirable
Post-Graduate Project Management or PMP/Prince2 certification advantageous
