Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Background: Mechanical engineering, Drilling equipment, Hydraulics To supervise the development a product range based on T-Rig innovative / patented technology. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of the Mechanical Design for a product range,
- Generates the assembly drawings and detail drawings,
- Develops hydrodynamics simulations and calculations,
- Organises all aspects of the project management,
- Defines and Keeps all project related documentation, BOM, Manuals, etc\xe2\x80\xa6
- Leads equipment testing programs,
- Anticipates challenges and project risks and recommends necessary mitigating measures.
- Master degree in Mechanical Engineering from top tier school / university,
- Have a minimum of 5 / 7 years mechanical design experience,
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical engineering theory and principles,
- Demonstrate good knowledge of hydraulics, fluid dynamics, resistance of materials,
- Demonstrates sound understanding of Mechanical Manufacturing & Metallurgy,
- Solid problem solving skills,
- Be proficient in 2D/3D modelling and relevant software such Solidworks,
- Solid organisation and time management skills, High attention to details, Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced & international environment,
- Ability to work fluctuating work schedules and extensive work hours required by workloads, Leadership skills necessary to manage and develop a team,
- Have excellent written and verbal English,
- Knowledge of the drilling equipment field can be an advantage.
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
