Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full cycle of mechanical design for major infrastructure and transportation projects.
• Oversee the development of HVAC, ventilation, and mechanical systems for rail, metro, and airport facilities.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers, ensuring high technical performance and professional development.
• Review, validate, and approve mechanical calculations, design drawings, and project documentation.
• Coordinate mechanical designs with structural, architectural, and electrical teams for cohesive project delivery.
• Ensure all mechanical systems comply with local and international design codes and sustainability standards.
• Implement advanced BIM modeling and simulation tools for system analysis and energy efficiency optimization.
• Engage with clients and contractors to resolve design challenges and optimize engineering solutions.
• Monitor project milestones, budgets, and deliverables, maintaining quality and schedule compliance.
• Contribute to digital design innovation using computational tools and programming to automate workflows.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in mechanical design for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong background in HVAC, air conditioning, and ventilation system design for transport facilities.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, HAP, IES, and other design and energy simulation tools.
• Experience with BIM modeling, design automation, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of sustainable design principles and energy-efficient systems.
• Prior experience working in the UAE or GCC region is highly desirable.
