Responsibilities:Manage and coordinate day-to-day site activities with the contractor, reporting progress, risks, and issues to the Resident Engineer and Project Management team.Review and approve method statements, material submittals, shop drawings, and as built documentation.Lead a team of engineers and inspectors; delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively to ensure timely completion of inspections and site-related tasks.Participate in progress and coordination meetings; contribute technical expertise and ensure resolution of site issues.Ensure quality assurance and quality control processes are implemented and followed throughout the mechanical works.Support testing and commissioning activities, ensuring systems are installed, tested, and operated in accordance with project specifications.Maintain clear documentation of site activities, issues, and resolutions.Ensure all safety protocols and site regulations are strictly followedRequired SkillsBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline; master's degree is a plus.Minimum 15 years of total experience in mechanical engineering, including at least 5 years in airport projects.Proven experience in construction supervision and site-based roles, specifically within the MEP domain Previous experience in leading engineering teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders on large-scale infrastructure projects.Solid understanding of local and international mechanical codes and standards.Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to guide junior engineers and inspectors.UAE/GCC experience required.Familiarity with BIM workflows is advantageous.Familiarity with Aconex for project documentation and correspondence, and Proficient AutoCAD skills.Excellent command of written and spoken English.Ability to join within 1 month or less.
