Senior Mechanic
Position Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanic to lead our technical team. You will be responsible for diagnosing complex issues, performing advanced repairs, and ensuring the highest quality of workmanship. Leadership and mentoring are key aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Perform advanced repairs and overhauls on engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems.
- Supervise and guide a team of mechanics and assistants, providing technical guidance.
- Conduct quality control checks on completed work.
- Estimate repair costs and timelines for customers.
- Stay updated with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Assist in training and developing junior staff.
- Proven experience as a Senior Mechanic or Master Technician.
- Extensive knowledge of vehicle systems and advanced diagnostic equipment.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., ASE) are highly desirable.
- A valid driver's license.
