**Senior Materials Inspector**

**Qatar**

Parsons is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented **Senior Materials Inspector** to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and supervising construction activities on-site, ensuring that works are carried out in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

**What You'll Be Doing:**

+ Supervising and monitoring construction activities to ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

+ Coordinating with contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely execution of works and adherence to project schedules.

+ Conducting daily site inspections and reporting on progress, workmanship, and compliance with safety regulations.

+ Identifying and reporting any non-conformance to the Resident Engineer or QA/QC team, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.

+ Reviewing method statements, material submittals, and shop drawings to ensure alignment with project requirements.

+ Preparing and maintaining detailed site inspection records, reports, and daily logs.

+ Liaising with the project team, consultants, and client representatives to ensure clear communication and resolution of site-related issues.

+ Supporting testing and commissioning activities as required during the project close-out phase.

+ Ensuring that health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards are strictly followed on site.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**

+ Diploma or BacheloraEUR(TM)s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution, subject to approval by the Engineer.

+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction supervision, with a strong background in infrastructure and civil works.

+ Proven experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects including roads, drainage, utilities, and other public works.

+ Solid understanding of construction methodologies, inspection procedures, and material quality control.

+ Strong knowledge of local and international construction codes and standards.

+ Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

+ Proficiency in using standard inspection tools, reporting systems, and computer applications such as Microsoft Office.

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring:**

+ Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

+ Ability to interpret and analyze technical drawings and specifications.

+ Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills.

+ Previous experience working in the Gulf region is preferred.

+ Arabic language skills are an advantage.

+ Ability to manage multiple site activities and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
