Overview

The Senior Marketing Manager, Events will play a pivotal role in orchestrating and executing impactful events that showcase Mubadala Health\'s commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services. Reporting to the Director, Strategic Marketing, She/He will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing a diverse range of events.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning and Vision - Develop and execute a comprehensive events strategy aligned with the organization\'s goals, brand positioning, aspirations and values. Create a long-term vision for events that supports employee engagement, brand awareness, and community outreach.
  • Procurement Process - Manage the procurement process related to events and activities, from initial vendor selection to successful payment and contract management as per the organization\xe2\x80\x99s policies and procedures.
  • Event Management - Plan, coordinate, and oversee a wide range of events, including conferences, workshops, seminars, webinars, and town hall meetings. Ensure that events are well-organized, efficient, and meet the needs of different departments and employee groups. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event execution, from logistics to content development.
  • Budget Management - Develop and manage event budgets, allocating resources efficiently to achieve maximum impact.
  • Stakeholder Engagement - Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including department heads, executives, and HC, to understand their event needs and objectives.
  • Content Development - Work with subject matter experts to conceptualize ideas, create compelling and relevant event content, presentations, and materials. Ensure that event content aligns with the organization\'s messaging and/or educational goals.
  • Logistics and Operations - Manage logistical aspects of events, such as venue selection, catering, transportation, audiovisual equipment, and technology setup. Coordinate event registration, attendee tracking, and follow-up activities to ensure a smooth attendee experience.
  • Marketing and Promotion - Develop promotional strategies to increase event participation and engagement. Utilize various marketing channels, including email campaigns, social media, and internal communication platforms, to promote events effectively.
  • Evaluation and Reporting - Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of events. Collect and analyze feedback from attendees and stakeholders to continually improve event quality and impact. Prepare post-event reports and summaries for senior leadership, highlighting key outcomes and areas for improvement.
  • Team Leadership and Development - Lead and supervise a team of event coordinators and support staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages creativity and innovation.
Qualifications

Experience:
  • 6+ years of experience in a similar role, overseeing (physical) events.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills able to prioritise, manage expectations, plan and coordinate stakeholders when working on projects.
  • Excellent attention to detail and an eye for quality, with the ability to move forward and execute plans and projects.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English. Arabic is a plus.
  • Ability to be hands-on in a complex operational environment, to drive action into success.
