The Swiss International Scientific School in Dubai (SISD) is seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Marketing Executive, with a start date in September/October 2023.

Start Date: September/October 2023
Reports to: Head of Marketing & Admissions Main Duties and Responsibilities The following duties are not shown in order of priority or frequency, nor is the list comprehensive, but rather an indication of the type and level of duties expected of the post. Website:
  • To work with the Head of Marketing & Admissions, and other interested parties, in maintaining and developing the school website
  • To monitor and update information displayed on the website liaising with teaching staff, Section Heads, Department Heads, Head of School and other departments where necessary
  • To drive traffic to the website through appropriate initiatives
  • Encouraging contributions of news from staff and pupils
  • Assessing the information structure and presentation of information on the website to ensure that it is as impressive as it can be
  • Checking the functionality of the website to ensure that it is navigable
  • Maintaining an overview of School web pages
  • To create digital reports e.g., using Google Analytics to enable the Head of Marketing & Admissions to assess how effective the website is as a marketing tool and presenting this information at meetings of the Marketing and Admissions Teams
  • Content creator, proofreading and editing articles and publications
  • Editing of photographs using Photoshop
  • Managing all digital assets (photographs) to facilitate access and archiving
  • Looking at the content of the information on the website with a view to maximizing Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Updating educational websites where information for our school is held
  • Sending news to key electronic commercial and educational websites as appropriate
  • Periodically, or as required, developing the design and functionality of current or new website
Social Media:
  • Manage the social media calendar and plan the content and stories for each channel
  • Create the content for the relevant channels
  • Planning weekly schedules of postings on different platforms, e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn for the school and support promoting the camps and ASAs when required
  • Monitoring the existing platforms and making approved responses as required
  • Analysing all social media metrics and advise on improvement to increase engagement
  • Following educational specialists on social media to look for opportunities on to contribute to discussions online and build relationships with them
Admissions:
  • Conduct daily school tours
  • Assist with admissions enquiries and interest
  • Respond to daily leads via salesforce.
  • Ongoing communication with prospective parents after the school tours and visits
Other:
  • Assists in creating promotional materials, including prospectus, magazines, digital advertising, offline advertising, yearbook etc.
  • Support the team in delivering key events
  • Manage the content for Internal digital screens
  • Create survey\xe2\x80\x99s as and when required to gain insights
  • Assist the Head of Marketing & Admissions in creating a view of the Parent Communication Cycle to enable us to make improvements to parent communications (for both new and existing)
  • To represent the school at conferences, fairs, and exhibitions some of which maybe during out of hours (weekends, evenings)
General:
  • Regularly review other schools\xe2\x80\x99 activity and changes in the school\xe2\x80\x99s market
  • Create marketing reports
  • Ensure compliance of all school administrative processes and procedures for inspections
  • Appreciate and support the role of other professionals and establish constructive relationships and communicate with other organizations and individuals as required
  • Participate in training and development activities and programmes
  • Attend and participate in meetings as required
  • Comply with, and assist with the development of policies and procedures, and report all concerns to an appropriate person, in respect of:
  • Child protection
  • Health, safety, and security
  • Confidentiality and Data Protection
  • Perform any other duties as requested by the Head of Marketing & Admissions as commensurate with the post
  • Research and analyse market trends, prepare report benchmarking with other schools regarding fees, curriculum, other value-added services, etc.
  • Conduct parents survey to identify the areas for school improvements
  • Develop and create content that promotes the school\'s achievements.
  • Review, develop and explore new communication channels for existing and prospective parents
  • Competitor offerings and demographics to identify opportunities for promotion and growth
  • Marketing strategies to improve the student retention and overall enrolment growth
  • Planning and carrying out PR campaigns and strategies
  • Coordinate parent/community events to engage parents in school activities and celebrations

External: Third parties - parents, suppliers, boarding agents, press and media partners Position Requirements Education:
Degree educated with ideally a Marketing related degree Experience:
  • A minimum of 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a marketing role
  • A minimum of 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience of leading a marketing team as a coordinator or lead desirable
  • Experience of working in a school, college, or university a plus
Competencies:
  • A second language desirable (French, German, Russian)
