Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage end-to-end
tagging and barcoding operations
for jewellery items
Create, maintain, and control
SKU structures
for gold, diamond jewellery
Ensure accuracy of
weight, purity, stone details, pricing, and product codes
on tags
Coordinate with
production, inventory, and sales teams
for seamless tagging workflow
Monitor tagging staff performance and ensure adherence to company standards
Implement and maintain
tagging SOPs
and internal controls
Ensure compliance with
legal, hallmarking, and company tagging standards
Conduct regular
audits and reconciliations
between physical stock and system data
Handle tagging for
new designs, repairs, exchanges, and returns
Troubleshoot SKU or tagging discrepancies and implement corrective actions
Requirements & Skills:
Proven experience 3- 4 years as a
Tagging Manager / Senior Tagging Manager
in the jewellery industry
Strong knowledge of
SKU generation, barcode systems, and inventory software
In-depth understanding of
gold purity, diamond grading, gemstones, and jewellery classifications
Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
Strong team management and coordination skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Good computer skills (ERP, Excel, inventory systems)
Preferred Qualifications:
Diploma / bachelor's degree (preferred)
Experience in
wholesale Jewellery operations
