Overview

The Senior Manager, Social Media at Mubadala Health, will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our healthcare-focused digital marketing strategy. They will be responsible for crafting compelling content, fostering engagement, and driving brand awareness across various platforms. They will guide the development of campaigns that resonate with our target audience, establishing Mubadala Health as a trusted authority in healthcare services.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:
  • Social Media Strategy - Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the organization\'s growth goals and brand identity for M42. Create a strategy and roadmap for leveraging social media to increase visibility, engagement, and reach across all health services and healthtech assets.
  • Platform Management - Manage and oversee social media platforms for M42. Identify the most relevant platforms for reaching target audiences, including patients, healthcare professionals, investors, and industry partners. Stay up to date with the latest trends and incorporate across the organization where appropriate.
  • Content Creation and Curation - Create high-quality, engaging, and informative content that highlights the organization\'s healthcare services, innovations, technologies, and industry insights. Curate relevant content from internal and external sources to provide valuable information to the organization\'s social media followers.
  • Community Engagement - Foster an active and engaged social media community by responding to comments, messages, and interactions promptly. Initiate and participate in meaningful conversations with followers, addressing inquiries, and building relationships.
  • Campaign Development - Plan and execute social media campaigns (including paid) that align with specific objectives, such as promoting new healthcare services, highlighting achievements, and driving user engagement. Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies based on analytics and feedback.
  • Collaboration with Teams - Collaborate with internal departments, health services and healthtech assets, to gather information and insights for creating compelling social media content.
  • Coordinate with marketing, communications, and PR teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Influencer and Partner Collaboration - Identify and collaborate with healthcare influencers, industry experts, and partners to amplify the organization\'s social media presence. Forge partnerships with relevant stakeholders to co-create content and extend reach.
  • Analytics and Reporting - Monitor social media analytics to track engagement, reach, and other key performance metrics. Prepare regular reports on social media performance and present insights to relevant stakeholders for data-driven decision-making. Implement the right tools and technology for reporting and optimization.
  • Crisis Management \xe2\x80\x93 In alignment with the organization\xe2\x80\x99s crisis comms plan, develop strategies for addressing potential social media crises and negative feedback. Respond quickly and professionally to manage and mitigate reputational risks.
  • Adoption of Emerging Trends - Stay up-to-date with emerging social media trends, technologies, and best practices in the healthcare and health-tech sectors. Recommend and implement innovative approaches to keep the organization\'s social media efforts relevant and cutting-edge.
  • Employee Advocacy - Encourage and facilitate employee engagement on social media platforms to amplify the organization\'s message and foster a culture of advocacy.
  • Paid Social Advertising - Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns to increase visibility, engagement, and conversions. Optimize ad targeting and budgets to ensure maximum return on investment (ROI).
  • Brand Monitoring - Monitor social media channels for mentions of the organization, healthcare assets, and health-tech companies, addressing inquiries and feedback as needed. Implement the right tracking tools as required.
  • Strategic Growth Initiatives - Contribute to strategic growth initiatives by leveraging social media as a tool for brand expansion, lead generation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Team/Resource Management \xe2\x80\x93 Manage and build a team of in-house and third-party resources to deliver strategies, plans, creative, community management, ensuring service level agreements are met for quality, budget, delivery time and results.
Qualifications

Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience in a similar role, overseeing Social Media strategy in a large organization.
  • Exceptional understanding of the media mix (owned media, shared media, earned, paid).
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills; ability to work in partnership and with flexibility; ability to lead teams with confidence; excellent attention to detail.
  • Good eye for design and a demonstrable understanding of targeting different audiences and conveying messages effectively across a range of communications channels.
  • Effective manager, confident leader, and team player, able to work independently to drive results to deadline and manage pressure situations, including crises.
  • Excellent working knowledge of and experience managing suppliers of marketing services: social media agencies, branding agencies, web agencies, and media buy agencies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication (English and Arabic required) and an ability to deliver and edit high-quality and targeted content
  • Excellent analytical abilities.
