Aldar Education is currently seeking a Senior Manager- Secondary - Aldar Training Academy to support our growing family of owned and operated schools in the UAE. Due to planned current and future expansion we are looking to add to our Team supporting our British, US and IB curricula network of schools. The successful candidates will be closely aligned with our core values and ethos and possess a genuine understanding and appreciation of the values of the region.

Job Purpose To embody the values, vision and ethos of Aldar Education and to assist the School Review, CPD and Support team in delivering policy which will ensure high quality and successful outcomes for all teaching programmes. To support Aldar Training Academy (ATA) and the ATA team in achieving the key teaching and learning objectives for individual schools within the network through supporting the development of a high-quality review system that identifies schools' strengths and areas for development. To support the ATA team and wider HQ in achieving the key business and training objectives of Aldar Training Academy. To support the identification of individual school and group wide Islamic support requirements. To support the ATA team in the monitoring, evaluation and continuous review of the quality and effectiveness of all Islamic educational CPD delivery in particular teaching and learning, the curriculum, counselling and guidance and wellbeing programmes in all schools. To support the identification of Islamic best practice and practitioners from across the network and work alongside the Learning Networks to provide individual school support where necessary. To develop Aldar Training Academy (ATA) Islamic internal and external professional development programmes and ensure that ATA meets the company aims and objectives. To promote ATA and raise its profile in Abu Dhabi and beyond. To model the values and vision of Aldar Education. To be a role model to staff and students. To have high expectations of all staff and students. Identify professional development needs of those you line manage or work with and address with CPD. To undertake and carry out any other such comparable duties commensurate with the grade of the post, as required by your Line Manager, the Academic Director and/or the Directors of Education as they occur. To lead by example to maintain a high standard of professionalism at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

CPD and School Improvement To create, develop and support the team with the generation of extremely high-quality CPD programmes for Aldar Training Academy (ATA), Aldar Education and external customers in order to provide the highest quality training in secondary education. To effectively lead members of the ATA team to ensure delivery of high-quality workshops to Aldar Education staff, HQ and external customers as necessary. To work as part of the wider school improvement team at Head Quarters (HQ) to enhance secondary provision in schools and ensure that pedagogical practice provides all learners with dynamic and innovative learning opportunities. To co-create, develop and oversee key strategies to improve educational training programmes of Aldar Training Academy To lead and work as part of the wider school improvement team to provide support for schools and ensure that school pedagogical practice, curricula and non-curricula are of the highest quality School Review To support the Academic Director with the design and maintenance of a school review process to assess, evaluate and report on school performance. To lead and/or be a team reviewer responsible for making accurate lesson judgements, conducting stakeholder meetings and writing clear, concise and accurate reports. To support the Academic Director with the identification of suitable staff to lead and take part in school reviews. To support the Academic Director with the creation, development and delivery of a training programme for School SIR/Review Leads and School SIR/Review Team Members to best equip them to assess, evaluate and report in school performance. To work with the Academic Director to develop a dynamic support network from staff across all Aldar schools in the first instance to provide support in key areas identified for development. To support the Academic Director with the planning, organisation and monitoring of the quality of support put in place for schools and take appropriate intervention actions when required. To work with the Academic Director to provide protocols to be followed during school reviews including providing exemplar materials. To review and quality assure the work of others in the ATA team and within Aldar Education as necessary Work closely with school leaders to support and give advice on inspection preparation and outcomes related to education matters Research latest approaches to school improvement and evaluate how these may improve the practice of Aldar Education schools MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors (BSc or BA)

Teaching Qualification e.g., PGCE/BA in Education

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

At least 5 years' experience as a Middle or Senior Manager/Leader within a school setting and or the education sector.
