Synopsis
An exciting opportunity to join our Etihad Technical Operations team. As a Senior Manager of Production planning and control you will report to the Head of Technical Operations for all CAR M, CAR 145 and EASA Part-145 requirements related to the Capacity, Resource, and Production Planning required for maintenance operation, ensuring Etihad Airway’s safety, airworthiness and economic objectives are met in an efficient manner.
Accountabilities
- Implements an effective capacity planning operation for Line and Light Maintenance as outlined by the Head of Technical Operations.
- Manages and continuously improves an effective production planning organization for Etihad Line and Light maintenance activities.
- Manages any Technical projects, as directed by the Head of Technical Operations.
- Ensures EASA/GCAA and other customer NAA certification approval is maintained.
- Actively manages any incidents that may occur in order to minimize Etihad employees’ injury and other forms of loss
- Manages and continuously improves tooling, GSE support, Line and Light material store to support the daily and continued operation of the line and light maintenance organizations.
- Constantly review together with the Manager GSE/Tooling any additional tooling or equipment required to achieve operational requirements, and duly prepares business cases to quantify the purchase / lease of such equipment.
- Controls the budgetary expenditure in correlation with the Head of Technical Operations to ensure yearly targets are maintained. Promotes Safety through implementation of SMS processes and formal Risk Assessments upon operationally significant changes such as introduction of new processes, new organization, or equipment, or upon changes to existing procedures or processes with significant operational impact.
- Ensures a safe and secure working environment for Etihad employees. Promotes quality of work, safety, and security awareness
Education & Experience
- Valid aircraft maintenance license (UAE GCAA/EASA Part 66 or equivalent Degree / diploma in the field of Human Resource or Resource Management / Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical /Electronic Engineering.
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years job-related experience / at least 5 years of Management experience in a similar role is within aircraft maintenance essential
- Excellent people management and communication skills to engage at all levels.
