Job Description

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE: To lead, oversee, and manage all the strategic activities related to Procurement Excellence within flydubai inducing the below major areas. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensures standardization of procurement functional reporting, including templates, vocabulary, policies, procedures, practices, and tools.
  • Reviews updates and amendments to procurement documentation framework and processes.
  • Establishes procurement excellence standards for each of the procurement teams, monitor deployment, review adherence, and escalate risks. .
  • Monitors audits and closure of protocol non-compliances across procurement activities.
  • Identifies and oversees implementation risk mitigation measures for procurement processes, such as supplier failure or supply chain disruptions.
  • Establishes and maintains analytics, metrics, and mechanisms to monitor and measure performance across agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Leads the preparation of reports on procurement operations.
  • Collaborates with internal procurement stakeholders to provide input and support including spend analysis and supplier segmentation analysis. .
  • Reviews and approves preparation of performance reports regarding procurement function activities for relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Monitors the supplier registration process on the procurement system, including due diligence, registration, modification, assessment, and supplier performance evaluation.
  • Leads centralization of Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
  • Leads the Procurement Excellence function and ensure individual and sub-functional objectives and priorities are in line with the procurement and flydubai objectives and are met within the set milestones.
  • Drives upskilling, oversee training and continuous development efforts within ones own team in line with the capability requirement and service priorities of the procurement function.
  • Builds and promotes customer centric culture, encouraging innovation and rewards-based performance within the team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
  • Fluent in English
  • 10 - 12 years
  • MCIPS Certification (preferred)

ISR Requirements: Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
