Our scope includes commercial laundry and industrial laundry (OPL), commercial kitchens, boilers, spares and consumables, plus aftersales and AMC growth. Role Summary
We are hiring a Senior Manager of Sales and Operations to lead our Dubai business near JAFZA. This is a market-facing leadership role for a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with 15 plus years of total experience, including strong UAE market exposure, who started hands on in commercial HVAC and refrigeration and progressed into sales engineering leadership.
You will be expected to generate revenue quickly through an active UAE network and strong execution, while also owning branch performance and team building. International travel may be a minimum of 25 percent based on business needs.
What You Will Own
Commercial growth and early revenue impact
Own sales strategy, targets, pipeline quality, forecast accuracy and P&L growth.
Generate early wins through your UAE network, relationships, and market access
Provide qualified leads and warm introductions to accelerate the team
Lead strategic accounts across hotels, hospitals, facilities management operators, and industrial clients
Drive consultant engagement, specification influence, and tender execution
Lead commercial negotiations and protect margin through disciplined pricing and scope control
Business scaling and expansion
Build and execute a growth plan to scale revenue, margin, and market coverage
Identify and launch adjacent, connected product lines aligned to Wotek's customer base
Evaluate principals and suppliers, negotiate commercial terms, and define go to market plans
Expand regional opportunities through structured market development and account penetration
Operations and branch performance
Run weekly operating cadence: pipeline and branch performance reviews, margin governance, and collections discipline
Coordinate execution with service, projects, procurement, and logistics for predictable delivery
Improve speed and discipline across quoting, approvals, handovers, and escalations
Team leadership and hiring
Lead and coach senior sales engineers and senior sales executives
Hire high performing, hunter minded sales engineers for near term growth and future scale up
Set KPIs, coaching cadence, territory coverage, and accountability standards
Travel Requirement
International travel may be a minimum of 25% (GCC and other markets). Candidates must be willing and able to travel frequently.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
15 plus years of progressive experience with this pathway
Started hands-on in commercial air conditioning and refrigeration
Exposure to hotels, hospitals, laundry, kitchen, facilities, or FM environments
Progressed into sales engineering and leadership at the manager or senior manager level
Proven UAE track record winning business through consultants, contractors, end users, and FM operators
Demonstrated people leadership managing senior sales engineers or senior sales executives
Proven experience growing and scaling a business unit or branch (revenue growth, market expansion, team building)
Demonstrated ability to originate opportunities through an active UAE network and convert them into revenue quickly
Strong commercial discipline across pricing, margin, contracts, and collections
Strong English communication, written and spoken
Must be UAE based and willing to work as a full time employee under a company sponsored UAE employment visa. This is a fully dedicated role, not a freelance arrangement.
Must be able to develop business without using confidential information from any current or former employer and without violating any contractual restrictions
Preferred
Strong UAE consultant and contractor network in hospitality, healthcare, FM, and industrial segments
Exposure to one or more: BMS and HVAC controls, metering and energy solutions, refrigeration packages, commercial laundry (industrial laundry, OPL), commercial kitchen solutions, boilers, aftersales and AMC growth
