We are Looking for an Senior Manager - NPD for one of our clients based in the United Arab Emirates.
Title: Senior Manager - NPD Location: Dubai, UAE
Experience: 10 plus years of experience in R&D, NPD in a regional role with a strong culinary background in Industrial Kitchens or Food Manufacturing Organizations and significant experience in food ingredients, project management.
Job summary: As the Lead of NPD you will work in collaboration with production, sales, quality and marketing teams to develop new products and improve existing products designed to meet the needs of consumers and customers. Responsible for conceptualizing & curating high-quality products, the lead of NPD will have a strong knowledge of ingredient functionality, products / processes.
Roles & Responsibilities;
Design & develop projects to introduce new products, improve product quality and functionality of existing products.
Innovation from idea generation through proof of concept to commercialization while creating new products that lead to competitive advantage for the firm.
Work closely with Sales & Marketing teams towards New Product Development through R&D initiatives / activities to ensure products meet customer needs.
Optimize formulations and recipe creations, while maintaining / improving performance, and / or cost savings.
Ensure complete documentation on new and/or revised products including raw materials, formulations, process parameters, QC tests, labeling, etc
Qualification, Experience and Skills:
Qualification: A degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Dairy Technology & culinary sciences, or a related field from a recognized University. Other Science degrees may be considered.
Experience: 10 plus years of experience in R&D, NPD in a regional role with a strong culinary background in Industrial Kitchens or Food Manufacturing Organizations and significant experience in food ingredients, project management. A background in Juices and culinary products like marinades, sauces, cooking creams is essential.
