MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

To provide oversight of strategic procurement, inventory control, distribution of materials and repairs, ensuring the efficient and uninterrupted operation of the fleet. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to optimize material supply chain processes and maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, and reliability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures efficient process and procedures to deliver maximum efficiency in terms of material availability and utilization.

• Monitors inventory-owned, pooled, leased, and consigned parts with clean record of assets

• Negotiates and manages all types of contracts with supplier support agreements with OEM\xe2\x80\x99s and Aircraft manufacturer

• Leads the initial provisioning, re-provisioning, repair management, loans, modification and BFE materials

• Ensures Quality and Safety standards are maintained to the highest level.

• Prepares the annual budget for the spares and materials to support the flydubai fleet of Aircraft

• Oversees the procurement of spares and materials cost effectively within the approved budget including BFE

• Oversees the repair of components and the management of sub-contracts. In charge of the material needs for Base Maintenance and
• Outstation Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations. Handles Power By the Hour (PBH) and Just-In-Time (JIT) contracts.

• Negotiates supplier support agreements with vendors and OEMs. Manages the component pool and ensures that vendor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.

• Liaises with MCC, Engineering and maintenance within the division and other departments for any material procurement related activities

• Develops and executes a comprehensive materials management strategy aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices

• Represents materials section in operational meetings and provides required information to Senior Management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

Minimum Education Level Required

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree (or Equivalent)

• Recognized University Degree in related field or subject

Experience Specific Requirements

• Preferred No. of Years (with Relevant Degree) - 7

• Preferred No. of Years (without Relevant Degree) - 10

Systems, Licensing, Language or Certification Requirements

• IT systems including Microsoft Suite and MRO Systems.
