Job Purpose
Provide leadership and direction to the marketing team of Economic Cities & Free Zones
Develop and monitor the marketing strategy and ensure successful execution by directing, leading and guiding the marketing team
Ensure all marketing activity is innovative, best-in-class and meets the agreed marketing objectives for EC & FZ and its businesses
Accountable for the marketing teams KPIs and performance measures, development plans and resources (budget and people)
Key Responsibilities
Lead the marketing of EC & FZ
Establish strong partnerships with the executive management team and present the vision, guidance, and innovation for all strategic marketing planning
Partner with internal stakeholders to translate their business objectives to measurable marketing goals, steer their annual marketing activities and ensure the marketing resources (budget and people) are available
Ensure consistency, conformity, and alignment of EC & FZ brand messages and value propositions communicated across all marketing communications
Work closely with the Communications Manager to execute fully integrated campaigns and promotional efforts
Develop processes and procedures for the marketing function, ensuring full alignment with the requirements of the corporate marketing and communications department, the corporate functions and the various businesses of EC & FZ and per functional service level agreements (SLAs)
Key Interaction
Define and monitor the annual and long-term marketing strategy for EC & FZ and its businesses
Align the marketing activities to EC & FZ financial, operational, and business objectives
Establish the EC & FZ brand strategy and ensure that all activities are consistent with the EC & FZ brand architecture and positioning
Lead the marketing team by providing clear direction, ensuring marketing objectives are consistently translated to functional, integrated marketing efforts that achieve the corporate and business objectives
Steer the marketing team (directing the Senior Marketing Communications Manager and Senior Brand Manager) to ensure all (1) EC & FZ annual and integrated marketing campaigns increase awareness for EC & FZ and the business brands; (2) Produce best-in-class integrated marketing services, focusing on generating ROI for EC & FZ and businesses.
Optimize the project management of integrated marketing initiatives, ensure functional, best-in-class delivery against set parameters and incorporate timely communications for project alignment/approval incoordination with the executive management team
Required Qualification and Experience
A minimum of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field and preferably with a Post Graduate qualification
Experience in Marketing, Branding, Business leader
