This role is responsible for the ongoing evolution of flydubai\'s inflight customer experience, with a strong focus on innovation, inflight product and service delivery, and a commercial focus on monetisation of existing and future product features. This role requires a deep understanding of customer preferences, industry trends, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads the development and implementation of the airline\xe2\x80\x99s inflight experience strategy.
Manages the development and introduction of new aircraft cabin interior programs, working with Engineering, aircraft manufacturers, design consultancies, seating, IFE and other vendors to ensure program success.
Provides strategic leadership of the IFEC department, with a focus on product development, content strategy, marketing and monetisation of systems through customer revenue, advertising sales and strategic sponsorships, software and interface development and content integration. Build and maintain strong relationships with IFEC hardware suppliers, Hollywood film studios and content service providers.
Carries out continuous development and enhancement of the existing IFEC systems, working with hardware and software vendors and internal resources to add functionality and improve reliability and user experience.
Liaises with marketing and brand teams, develop and launch marketing campaigns and promotional activities to increase product awareness, inflight revenue, and customer satisfaction.
Ensures culinary design, food and beverage proposition and retail product offering are aligned to the airline\xe2\x80\x99s inflight experience strategy and the flydubai brand.
Works closely with internal stakeholders to champion customer experience excellence through insight into the brand strategy, customer needs and operational constraints. Engage the Customer Experience and Cabin Crew Training teams to ensure optimal delivery of the inflight product.
Carries out commercial negotiation of content licensing and content services agreements and finalisation of contracts in liaison with the legal team, to ensure the best possible commercial outcome for the airline.
Maintains a strong focus on digital across customer touchpoints and utilise the latest advances to understand, predict and improve offerings, including delivering operational efficiencies.
Works with the communications team to ensure that flydubai\'s inflight experience achieves increased exposure in traditional and digital media, and recognition through industry awards.
Conducts research to identify new technologies, trends and engineering developments to ensure that the flydubai inflight experience continues to evolve and innovate, supporting the company\xe2\x80\x99s brand image and ultimately influencing customer choice of flydubai over other carriers.
Leads initiatives to introduce innovative and differentiated features to enhance the inflight experience, such as in-flight entertainment, dining options, and passenger amenities.
