Key Responsibilities

• Analyze funding requirements across the group and its operating companies based on business plans and strategic priorities.
• Propose and arrange appropriate funding solutions at both Group and OpCo levels in coordination with internal stakeholders.
• Structure, negotiate, and finalize credit facilities with banks, working closely with the Legal team to ensure favorable terms.
• Partner with the Sustainability department to ensure all funding activities align with Majid Al Futtaim's ESG and sustainability objectives.
• Support the Investor Relations (IR) function by maintaining accurate, updated, and engaging IR website content.
• Prepare and update investor presentations, quarterly and annual reports, and financial disclosures in collaboration with Corporate Communications.
• Coordinate the timely preparation and release of bi-annual financial results and press statements to listing authorities.
• Manage relationships with credit rating agencies, ensuring compliance with ongoing reporting and timely submission of data, certifications, and financial updates.
• Prepare annual presentations and quarterly updates for credit rating agencies, coordinating inputs from relevant business units.
• Monitor and ensure timely submission of loan compliance and sustainability certificates, as well as periodic financial statements to lenders.
• Support the group's capital market programs, including bond issuance, debt refinancing, and other treasury-related activities.
• Contribute to annual reviews, market updates, and any ad hoc capital market initiatives as directed by leadership.
• Drive process efficiency, documentation accuracy, and compliance in funding operations and investor relations reporting.
• Promote environmental responsibility by aligning processes with ISO standards and supporting the organization's sustainability commitments.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, funding, or investor relations within large corporates or financial institutions.
• Professional certification such as ACT (Association of Corporate Treasurers) strongly preferred.
• Proven experience in managing bank relationships, credit facilities, and capital market transactions.
• Strong knowledge of funding structures, financial instruments, and capital market compliance requirements.
• Excellent financial modeling, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop investor presentations and communicate complex financial information clearly.
• Experience working with rating agencies and understanding credit analysis processes.
• Familiarity with ESG-linked financing and sustainability frameworks is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions.
• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency preferred.
