Role Summary
The Senior Manager External Communications is responsible for managing media relations and press office operations, advising senior stakeholders, and delivering compelling narratives aligned with Majid Al Futtaim's values, priorities, and long-term business objectives.
Key Responsibilities

• Position, promote, and protect the Majid Al Futtaim brand and reputation through proactive media engagement
• Partner with the Corporate Communications team to design and deliver integrated engagement plans that support reputation goals
• Build strong relationships across functions to ensure an aligned communications strategy that advances corporate ambitions
• Provide strategic counsel to senior stakeholders, ensuring communications align with corporate strategy, policies, and guidelines
• Lead and contribute to rapid response and crisis communications when required to manage reputational risks and market events
• Develop and oversee clear, consistent messaging across press materials, statements, and external content
• Monitor industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance communications effectiveness and business value
• Ensure all external communications adhere to brand guidelines, company policies, and content standards

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Media and Communications, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in in-house or agency roles within external communications or press office functions
• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and presentation skills with strong attention to detail
• Proven ability to translate complex topics into clear, compelling narratives
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement and advisory capabilities
• Self-motivated professional with a positive, collaborative approach to team and colleague engagement
