As a Senior Manager, your responsibilities will include supporting senior colleagues in preparing audit strategy, managing a portfolio, organising & reviewing work, as well as overseeing a team of Senior Associates & Associates and being a key client contact. While showcasing eagerness to delve into Business Development, leading with expertise, driving strategic initiatives, and fostering innovation to exceed client expectations and elevate industry standards.

About the Audit & Assurance at Grant Thornton UAE

As a Senior Manager some of your responsibilities will include:

Working strategically with the leadership team to drive the growth of the business Developing a strong internal and external network to support business development Taking responsibility in managing a key client portfolio; building and maintaining strong working relationships Taking the lead on dealing with large, technically complex clients Supporting the Audit Partner in the running of the team Negotiating client fees per engagement as appropriate Involved in the interview process for new hires joining the team

Skills

8+ years of External Audit experience in a top international firm Professionally qualified (ACA, CPA, ACCA) Extensive post-qualification audit experience, being keen to work with a diverse range of businesses Confident in IFRS, internal controls, and consolidation of financial statements Experience working on complex audits and delegating workloads accordingly Comfortable using audit software and Microsoft packages Strong verbal and written communication skills in English A passion for business development and a desire to be involved in developing a strategy for the team Strong communication, leadership, analytical skills and networking skills required Willingness to work additional hours and travel as needed
