JOB TITLE
Senior Manager - Data Architecture & Engineering | Holding | Strategy
ROLE SUMMARY
To lead the design & development of MAF unified enterprise data architecture, modelling, and management framework that ensures data quality, governance, inter-operability and integration across Majid Al Futtaim business units. This role enables secure, scalable, and business-aligned data solutions that support advanced data & AI use cases, operational efficiency, and value/data-driven decision making across all MAF business units.
ROLE PROFILE

• Develop and continuously refine a scalable data architecture & modelling covering all logical and physical data layers, aligned with business objectives.
• Promote standardization and harmonization of data technology infrastructure and models across systems and departments
• Lead the establishment and execution of MAF-wide data governance frameworks, policies, and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and MAF privacy policy & procedures requirements, leveraging centralized tools for consistent application across Business Units
• Oversee and advise on implementation of efficient data integration solutions, pipelines, and ETL/ELT processes to support a unified data platform.
• Continuously evaluate and integrate modern cloud technologies to enhance platform capabilities.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data challenges and co-create analytics and automation solutions that generate measurable value.

• A bachelor's or master's degree in information system, computer science or related discipline is required.
• 12-15 years of experience in data management, data analytics, data warehouse or a related field
• Proven experience in complex environments of data management, including data governance, data integration, and data quality
• Prior experience in leading and managing data teams, including recruiting, mentoring, and driving team performance.
• Expertise in data architecture & modelling, for enterprise-wide solutions.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally with business stakeholders
