Position Overview
The Senior Manager - Commercial role in Dubai leads sourcing strategy, strategic merchandising, and supplier management for the Retail business. This position is responsible for driving category performance, optimizing supplier partnerships, and ensuring profitable assortments across both online and offline channels while supporting long-term commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish category sourcing strategies and lead cross-functional strategic sourcing and merchandising teams
• Manage and negotiate with suppliers to execute contracts and optimize commercial opportunities
• Act as a market intelligence lead for assigned categories, identifying trends and strategic opportunities
• Define country-level merchandise strategy, assortment selection, and category profitability
• Ensure online assortment alignment with offline assortment to deliver a consistent customer experience
• Oversee performance management processes across commercial teams
• Mentor team members and support development of a strong talent pipeline for key roles
• Identify training needs and coordinate with Human Capital teams to support capability development
• Contribute to the development of corporate commercial policies and monitor their implementation
• Monitor allocated budgets, ensure compliance, and implement corrective actions where required

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in E-Commerce or Business Administration
• Master's degree in E-Commerce or Supply Chain is an advantage
• Strong experience in commercial sourcing, merchandising, or category management
• Mandatory experience within e-commerce environments
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and strategic planning skills
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage senior stakeholder relationships
