Job Description

JOB TITLE: Senior Manager DEPARTMENT: Campaigns Management ORGANIZATION: Dubai Corporation of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DCTCM)
JOB OBJECTIVE:

Lead the development of campaign management strategy, initiatives and campaign details and lead the implementation / execution of campaigns

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

Reporting to: Campaigns Director
Direct Reports: Managers, Assistant Managers, Senior Associates, Associates

Internal Communication:
  • DCTCM Teams
  • Procurement Team

External Communication:
  • Third Party Vendors (e.g. consultants, agencies)


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Functional Responsibilities:
  • Identify research methods, objectives, preferred data sources and timelines for market research activities to build an understanding of trends, customer behaviors, visitor segments and possible dates in the region
  • Lead the development of regional campaign management strategies in alignment with overall DCTCM marketing strategy
  • Lead the development of yearly campaign plans and detailing of calendar elements by guiding activities such as identification of scope, components, required investment levels, media frequency, engagement methods, target audiences and market mix
  • Provide guidance to the identification of organizations, celebrities and influencers which can be partnered with during the implementation of regional campaigns
  • Attend to meetings with organizations, celebrities, influencers; conduct presentations on Dubai Tourism's campaigns and support the negotiation activities to form partnerships
  • Facilitate brainstorming sessions to develop new campaign ideas and guide the team to consider all aspects of campaign planning and implementation
  • Lead the detailing of conceptualized campaign ideas and review the outcomes of detailing activities such as development of success measures, analysis on economic considerations and budget allocation/ optimization
  • Attend to the management meetings and provide information on the campaign plans and their details
  • Lead the development of campaign briefs to be shared with agencies and review the briefs to ensure that they are aligned with approved campaign plans and details
  • Review third party providers' and agencies' proposals for Dubai Tourism's campaign development and execution needs and provide information to selection process
  • Review third party provider (e.g. consultants, agencies) performance during activities related to Dubai Tourism's campaign development and execution needs and ensure that deliverables are aligned with organization's priorities
  • Lead the implementation/ roll out of campaigns and ensure that the delivery follows agreed campaign elements; resolve escalated issues
  • Lead coordination with other marketing departments to facilitate delivery of campaigns as per plan
  • Provide guidance in the development of campaign performance reports and review identified discrepancy areas
  • Conduct further investigations and analysis on the identified discrepancy areas in campaign performance reports and share the results with higher management
  • Lead content production activities and review outcomes to ensure content consistency with campaign strategic objectives
Managerial Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to setting the department’s operational plans and ensure the cascading of such to the employees’ individual objectives. Monitor section's performance and issue periodic reports that reflect the overall performance to continually measure overall section's and individual performance against set objectives. Provide formal and informal feedback to optimize the team's performance
  • Provide insight on the development of the section's talent capabilities through proactively assessing existing talent gaps, and providing recommendation to advance the existing skill base
  • Participate in the development and implementation of section's policies and procedures to ensure full adherence to organization's operational standards
Other Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant environment, health and safety policies and procedures to foster a culture of attention to health and safety that complies with the standards of DTCM
  • Ensure adherence to all DTCM Code of Conduct clauses to ensure a positive office environment that fosters respect, professionalism, happiness and transparency. Lead by example and ensure any acts of in compliance with DTCM code are addressed appropriately
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality by practicing information security protocols and remain abreast on new threats, risks, or breaches of security that can jeopardize own or other colleague's security and confidentiality
  • Comply with and abide by all applicable policies, procedures, guidelines, standards and directives of DTCM and any of its subordinated entities, as may be amended from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • University/College Degree in a related field


Minimum Experience:
  • 10+ Years of relevant experience
  • Digital Marketing / Social Media Agency experience preferred


Working Conditions:
  • Occasional offsite meeting and visits
