This role supports the E2E DCR (End to End Digital Customer Relationship) Data management & Operations Director in driving the agenda for DCR and UNIFY Order to Cash stream. The End-to-End Digital Customer Data Office supports as many as 5 domain data offices and has the responsibility for their respective data Maturity, following the DCAM playbook. Today\xe2\x80\x99s main gaps for the scalability of our Data Offices within E2E DCR are 1) the appropriate mapping and architecture of our data and 2) the lack of an organized and efficient way to access and consume the data from any of the multiple systems it may reside in.
Unify is our business transformation program that brings together Schneider Electric\xe2\x80\x99s business, supply chain and finance processes into 1 coherent, standardized and simplified global set of processes. The program includes all the actions related to the reengineering of our processes through the adoption of SAP S4 HANA public cloud (market standard processes) and hence the adaptation of the required processes to fit this standard, from a data, process, tool, and operating model point of view
Key responsibilities: E2E DCR and UNIFY Collaboration
Collaborate with multiple streams in UNIFY (Business teams, Data Teams, Order Experience/Order to Cash, Central Governance team, Data Domain owners etc.) to clarify and drive the business information architecture from E2E DCR
Drive and define E2E global/local business flows, processes, linked application flows, data entities, data flows etc from DCR in convergence with UNIFY
Collaborate with data domain owners/deputies and identify authoritative sources, source application systems, system lineage etc for E2E DCR, but not limited to UNIFY Scope
Identify potential impact for the global/local operational process flows, if there is any change in the existing sourcing strategy for all E2E DCR data
Drive and govern workshops with local/global business/data teams to clearly define the \xe2\x80\x9cSingle frame view\xe2\x80\x9d of all business flows, process flows, applications, data flows etc and identify areas for optimization and measure optimization impact in, but not limited to, cost, complexity standpoint
Act as a bridge between business and DCR data office, to identify
The processes in \xe2\x80\x9cOrder to Cash\xe2\x80\x9d stream in UNIFY and its global/local business flows
The DCR data flow between applications, but not limited to salesforce bFO, data flow from these applications to ERPs, and measure the impact on UNIFY \xe2\x80\x9cOrder to Cash\xe2\x80\x9d processes
Propose the business architecture optimization techniques to enhance the scalability, reliability, accuracy and diminish cost, complexity etc for UNIFY success
Act as a representative as a decision maker from E2E DCR in all strategic, solutioning discussions and steering committees pertaining to data and business information architecture for UNIFY.
DCR Data Office Responsibilities
Responsible for designing and managing DCR data & business information architecture to support its business objectives
Ensure the data and information are effectively collected, stored, organized, and utilized to drive business processes and decision-making
Set the strategic vision and plans for the Business Information Architecture from DCR Data Office
Cascade and adapt the group wide data strategy and align the business information architecture to all relevant teams including, but not limited to data domain offices, global process teams, local country teams etc
Clearly communicate strategy, agenda, priorities, ways of working to senior leaders, unit members and relevant stakeholders in the domain data offices, global process teams etc
Establish
Convergence: standardization of data problem solving by linking business, data, tech people practices and adoption of common language and change management
Cross-leverage: leveraging data assets, tech assets, tools, and processes from across business functions and establishing global benchmarks
Collaboration: build the right organizational structure and governance to share knowledge and scale
Drive business information architecture capability by building and change management through workshops with E2E DCR Architects, Business teams etc.
Set-up or leverage current communities of practice (Business Information architecture, data governance, master data management) for value cross-pollination
Business tech strategy and implementation
Support the definition and implementation of the data strategy in convergence with business strategy and in relation with the Data Governance franchise model
Work closely with Enterprise IT (IDS), Data Governance and AI platform teams to ensure the DCR needs are integrated into their roadmap and delivered against
Set-up governance to define and gate-check milestones for all data initiatives
Act as the business architect for new use cases related to DCR data; helping to identify the right data assets that support new business needs, bringing innovation, and assessing & prioritizing among new use cases across domains, geos, Lobs
Drive the business information architecture agenda through orchestration of the entire data management & operations delivery pipeline process - Streamlining ideation, creation & consumption lifecycle across business and geographies
Review the use case masterplan and collaborate with the CAST team to map the data needs and their availability
Measure, align on, and track the impact of the business process optimizations
Skills and attributes:
10+ years of overall experience and has experience in Business Information Architecture
Experience in structuring, organizing, and managing data and information within an organization to ensure that business processes are efficient, data is accurate, and information is readily accessible
Expertise in driving the strategy, vision, mission of Business Information Architecture
Understanding of Business Flows, Processes, System Architectures as well as driving the north star vision by collaborating with different process teams, business units, and geographies
Clear understanding of enterprise tools/applications, but not limited to, SAP ERP\xe2\x80\x99s, Salesforce, Oracle ERP\xe2\x80\x99s and knowledge on the functional design and business flows
Understanding of global business processes, guidelines and best practices against each business capability flows
Understanding the business processes and requirements of DCR and bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical team
Demonstrated ability to work on a diverse scope of projects requiring detailed analysis, creative/practical problem solving, and solution design
Fluent understanding of the business, data, and technical architecture of complex application landscape
Excellent interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to details, and intuitive storytelling ability
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills with the ability to make high-velocity decisions quickly and based on data, industry trends and stakeholder feedback
Confidence, engaging leader, able to communicate a vision and bring people along on the journey
