Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Compliance
: Prepare and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, including VATTeam Leadership
: Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring timely task completion.Budgeting & Forecasting
: Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and financial insights to management.Internal Controls & Audit
: Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets. Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit processes.Taxation
: Oversee VAT filings and ensure compliance with UAE tax laws.System Management
: Utilize accounting software (e.g., Tally, Great Plains, Hyperion) for financial reporting and analysis.Typical Qualifications
Education
: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are often preferred.Experience
: Minimum of 2-5 years in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Experience in the UAE market is highly advantageous.Skills
: Proficiency in accounting software (Tally preferred) and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Language
: Fluency in English is essential; Arabic proficiency is a plus.Job Type: Full-time
