We are hiring a

Senior Landscape Estimator

to lead our tendering and cost estimation for high-end landscape projects. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the GCC market, strong analytical skills, and proven experience managing bids from concept to submission.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Provide daily reporting and updates to the Technical Manager and/or Project Manager on ongoing activities and progress.

Review and analyze project drawings, specifications, and contract documents to prepare accurate cost estimates and raise RFIs or clarifications when necessary.

Perform detailed quantity take-offs and cost analysis for materials, labor, and equipment based on project requirements.

Prepare and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost plans, project estimates, and variations in a timely and accurate manner.

Support the preparation, finalization, and submission of quotations, tenders, and technical/commercial proposals in coordination with the relevant teams.

Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing, evaluate quotations, and conduct comparative analysis to support procurement and cost decisions.

Identify and propose cost-saving measures without compromising quality or compliance with project specifications.

Monitor project budgets and expenditures, update cost estimates as required, and assist in preparing project cash flow forecasts.

Ensure effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle in coordination with internal teams.

Support contract administration, including preparation and follow-up on variations, claims, early warning notices, legal correspondence, and dispute resolution.

Coordinate with the Document Controller to ensure proper documentation and filing of all tender and project-related communications.

Assist the Project Manager with valuation of works for client invoicing and the timely preparation and submission of payment claims.

Manage and follow up on Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), Work Inspection Requests (WIRs), and related approvals/documentation.

Arrange and coordinate off-site material inspections and associated payment processes.

Attend site visits, technical meetings, and project coordination sessions as needed.

Collaborate with the design, procurement, and execution teams to ensure alignment on cost planning, procurement strategies, and execution timelines.

Maintain and update a database of approved vendors, subcontractors, and pricing information.

Conduct periodic project analysis to support performance reviews and reporting.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in estimation, preferably within the landscaping, civil, or infrastructure sector. Proven experience in preparing BOQs and cost estimations for medium to large-scale projects. Strong knowledge of local construction materials, suppliers, and pricing. Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel). Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and within a team under tight deadlines. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
