Senior Landscape Architect - AECOM Middle East - Dubai, UAE
Position Overview
AECOM Middle East is seeking a talented and visionary Senior Landscape Architect to join its Urbanism and Planning studio in Dubai. The role involves leading complex design projects from concept to completion, shaping sustainable outdoor environments that enhance urban livability and aesthetic excellence across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale landscape architecture projects through all design stages from concept to construction
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure design objectives and project goals are achieved
• Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and prepare detailed landscape plans and technical specifications
• Integrate sustainable and climate-responsive design solutions using water-efficient landscaping and regional plant species
• Oversee the production of drawings, 3D visualizations, and presentation materials for client and authority approvals
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation efficiently
• Mentor and support junior designers, promoting innovation and design excellence
• Maintain strong client relationships and participate in business development and proposal preparation
• Ensure compliance with UAE environmental standards, local regulations, and AECOM quality processes
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and global best practices in landscape design and sustainability

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture (Master's preferred)
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in landscape architecture; experience in the UAE or GCC preferred
• Professional registration or licensure in Landscape Architecture advantageous
• Strong understanding of sustainable design and LEED principles
• Skilled in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D design software such as SketchUp or Revit
• Knowledge of local flora, soil conditions, and water-efficient irrigation techniques
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client coordination skills
