Senior Land Surveyor

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Land Surveyor to join our team! In this role you will get to work in roads, infrastructure and landscaping operation and maintenance projects. .

What You\'ll Be Doing:

• Perform land/field surveys and geodetic calculations.
• Interface with client and contractors to determine and verify project survey requirements.
• Supervising the regular activities of assets surveying and as built drawings and making sure that everything is up to date as per the regulations.
• Ensuring that all sites\xe2\x80\x99 activities are documented through a proper and updated reporting system.
• Maintains first-level quality assurance to confirm that the installation of all work is in accordance with the plans, specifications, and industry standards.
• Check setting-out and levels. Check services locations and ensure their protection
• Prepare sketches to support the field work. Maintain all the survey information (field books, sketches and calculations).
• Measure work done when required.
• Observe site safety procedures.
• Act positively, and participate in all health and safety issues at site, as required by the Resident Engineer, and project Safety Representative.
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You\'ll Bring:

• \xc2\xb7B.Sc. Degree /Associate degree in Engineering, Land survey Engineering.
• Minimum of 12 years practical O&M experience with no less than a 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in related road, infrastructure and landscaping projects.
• Demonstrable experience in all aspects of supervision on major O&M roads, Infrastructure and landscaping projects.
• Knowledge and experience in using CAD software and survey software, total station, data collectors and GPS equipment.
• Must be fluent in English and Arabic both written and spoken with an excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate logically and clearly with management and staff.
• Commitment to safe work practices.

What Desired Skills You\'ll Bring:

• Working knowledge of construction sequences and standard work procedures of the industry preferred.
• GCC experience preferrable.
