- Responsibility for software engineering design and development of video technologies and act as a contributing member during the agile process, from sprint planning to retrospective.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Build rich and interactive web (client based) application using ReactJS & NodeJS.
- Have a good knowledge in JSX (New JavaScript standards).
- Have a good knowledge in state management frameworks & libraries such as Redux & Mobx.
- Good knowledge in the new ReactJS (16.x.x) features such as React hooks
- Knowledge in React-Native is a plus.
- Contribute quality code in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Personally challenge themselves to improve code quality and productivity.
- Assist with removing technical impediments, design features, and suggest process improvement wherever necessary.
- Ability to manage day to day tasks and thrive in a collaborative environment with minimal supervision.
- Extensive experience using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS/CSS3, LESS/SASS, AJAX, JSON, jQuery
- Experienced at building single page javascript application that integrate with Rest Service backend
Work Experience:
- Experience in using source control management such as GitHub, bit bucket
- Exposure to Agile, Continuous Integration, Test Driven Development
- Experience in developing EPG/guide and VOD applications for STB
- Experience of OTT, IP, IPTV, DRM, CA, mobile devices (iPad, Android etc.), RTP technologies and MPEG standards
- Mid experience in HTML5, CSS/CSS3, LESS/SASS
- Experience in cross platform technologies and Triple-play (voice/video/data) environment
Desirable
- Knowledge in React-JS
- Knowledge in React state management libraries.
- Knowledge in JSX, CSS3, HTML5.
- Knowledge in building systems such as webpack
- Knowledge in package management like yarn and npm
- Knowledge in React-Native is a plus.
