Job Description
BlackStone eIT is a leading provider of innovative software solutions, dedicated to driving success for businesses through technology. We are currently seeking a Senior Java Developer for a 6-month contract to join our talented team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Java development to design, implement, and maintain high-quality applications, while collaborating closely with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy reliable and efficient Java applications within the project timeframe. Work closely with product managers and other developers to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet client expectations. Conduct code reviews and ensure that coding practices adhere to best practices and standards. Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and resolve issues. Write unit tests and participate in the integration and deployment processes. Stay current on new technologies and development methodologies. Mentor junior team members and contribute to their professional growth.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development. Strong understanding of Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and JPA. Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases. Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and OOP concepts. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and best practices in software development. Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, contract environment.
