Job Req Number: 94911 Time Type: Full Time As Senior Systems Developer you will lead and manage the development of Transport IT solutions, working closely with end-users, business owners, and product teams to understand requirements, resolve system issues, and ensure that applications meet business needs. You will also take on a leadership role in guiding other developers, supporting existing systems, and delivering new software solutions. Responsibilities Collaborate directly with end-users and business owners to collect and understand new system requirements. Translate these needs into technical specifications. Design, develop, and implement new software solutions or enhancements to existing systems to improve functionality and efficiency. Investigate and resolve issues with current systems, ensuring continuous support and system reliability. Plan and execute comprehensive testing of new releases and system updates to ensure stability, performance, and quality. Develop project plans and manage timelines for system releases, working with stakeholders to meet deadlines. Prepare training manuals and documentation for end-users to ensure smooth adoption and usage of the system. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other developers, guiding them through complex challenges and fostering best practices in system design and development. Qualifications Proven experience in systems/application development, with a focus on large-scale, enterprise-level applications. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems issues. Excellent communication skills to interact with non-technical users and stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions. Experience with software testing, debugging, and deployment processes. Familiarity with project management methodologies, particularly Agile or similar frameworks. Knowledge in the transport or logistics industry is a plus. Proficient in relevant programming languages and development tools.
