Job Summary
:We are looking for a
Senior Internal Auditor
to oversee and execute risk-based internal audits across our real estate business operations. This role is crucial in ensuringfinancial, operational, and regulatory compliance
, identifyinginternal control weaknesses
, and recommendingprocess improvements
to support business integrity and growth.Key Responsibilities
:Plan, lead, and execute
internal audits
across all business units including finance, operations, procurement, sales, and project sites. Assessinternal controls
, business processes, and risk management frameworks. Review and verifyfinancial records, real estate transactions, lease agreements, and project cost allocations
. Conduct audits oncompliance with statutory requirements
(GST, RERA, TDS, etc.). Identifyfraud risks
, control gaps, and suggest actionable solutions. Prepare clear and conciseaudit reports
with findings, risk assessments, and recommendations for improvement. Work with cross-functional teams to implementaudit recommendations
and track follow-up actions. Coordinate withexternal auditors
, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities as required. Evaluate and improvecorporate governance
practices and standard operating procedures. Assist in the development of theannual audit plan
and risk assessment process. Stay updated on changes inreal estate regulations, accounting standards, and internal audit best practices
.Required Skills & Qualifications
:Bachelor's degree in
Accounting, Finance, Commerce
, or a related field.CA / CIA / CMA / MBA (Finance)
or equivalent professional qualification preferred.5+ years
of experience in internal audit, preferably inreal estate, construction, or infrastructure sectors
. Strong knowledge ofinternal auditing standards
,risk-based auditing
, andSOX or similar compliance frameworks
. Familiarity withERP systems
(SAP, Oracle, etc.) andaudit tools
. In-depth understanding offinancial, operational, and regulatory
aspects of the real estate business. Stronganalytical, problem-solving, and report-writing
skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. High ethical standards and attention to detail.Job Type: Full-time
