Pioneer Engineering Consultancy is pleased to announce exciting new career opportunities to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. We are currently seeking qualified and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our team
Requirements
Bachelor's/Master's in Interior Design/Architecture.
8-12 years experience with built portfolio in hospitality, corporate, retail, or high-end residential.
Expert in AutoCAD, Revit or SketchUp, Adobe CC; 3D visualization proficiency preferred.
Strong detailing, joinery knowledge, and materials expertise.
Excellent client-facing, presentation, and project coordination skills.
GCC experience and authority submission exposure (DM/DDA/Trakhees/ADM) are strong pluses.
Responsibilities
Lead concept development from client brief to design intent, mood boards, and space planning.
Produce and review detailed drawings (plans, RCP, joinery/shop details) and material/spec packages.
Manage design presentations, client meetings, and approvals; coordinate with MEP/structural.
Guide FF&E selection, finishes, and value engineering aligned with budget and program.
Oversee design quality during fit-out: site reviews, RFIs, submittals, mock-ups, and snag lists.
Mentor junior designers and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
Ensure compliance with local codes (e.g., Dubai Municipality/Abu Dhabi standards) and sustainability guidelines where applicable.
