Key Responsibilities

• Lead concept, schematic, and detailed design development for residential, hospitality, retail, and commercial projects.
• Develop project-specific design briefs that align with strategic goals and market positioning.
• Oversee the design process to ensure integration between interior design, architecture, and engineering disciplines.
• Manage external consultants, FF&E vendors, and contractors to deliver high-quality design outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to brand standards, sustainability principles, and design governance frameworks.
• Review design submissions, materials, and mock-ups to ensure functional and aesthetic excellence.
• Conduct site visits to verify design implementation and provide direction for on-site adjustments.
• Collaborate with development, leasing, and marketing teams to maintain consistent design identity and functionality.
• Support procurement by preparing FF&E specifications, participating in vendor evaluations, and optimizing design within budget constraints.
• Conduct value engineering sessions without compromising design intent.
• Maintain accurate design documentation, reports, and progress presentations for leadership.
• Research emerging trends, technologies, and sustainable materials to enhance project innovation.
• Lead internal and external design workshops to align expectations, resolve issues, and maintain project momentum.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of interior design experience, including at least 5 years in a developer-side design management role.
• Proven experience delivering high-end residential, hospitality, or retail projects.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Solid knowledge of FF&E design, space planning, materials, and finishing standards.
• Familiarity with UAE codes, international design standards, and sustainability frameworks (LEED/WELL preferred).
• Experience collaborating with hotel operators, luxury brands, or international design firms.
• Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
• Strategic mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
