Our Client is currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Instrument Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Instrument Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, modeling, and analyzing I&C engineering requirements on projects, tenders, and proposals in compliance with client standards, international codes, and project scope of work. - Plan and execute Instrumentation engineering design for field instrumentation, Distributed Control System (DCS), Supervisory control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Integrated Control System (ICS), Fire and Gas, Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and Telecommunications systems.
- Ensure that the design is carried out as per the industry standard practices and in conformance with the quality management system.
- Coordinate with project and clients and assist in the preparation of project proposals and pre-qualification documents in what relates to Instrumentation engineering design. * Identify issues that impede project progress and report to Project Managers and Discipline Heads.
- Assimilate the evolution of new products and technology, and update oneself on the latest international standards in terms of engineering design practices and their applications.
- Identify new methodology of work process required for higher productivity.
- Prepare basic design, FEED, and detailed design of the instrumentation and controls part of the project.
- Contribute to Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE), Vendor Data Review (VDR), and follow-up engineering activities.
- Engineering degree in a relevant discipline.
- Experience with instrumentation in the Oil & Gas environment.
- FPSO/Offshore experience is preferred.
- Fully coherent in all international codes and standards.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English is required.
- Enthusiastic, conscientious, and keen to learn/Flexible with a can-do attitude.
- Experience in SPI - Specification and loop wiring module.
