Verify prerequisites such as WPS, calibration certificates, and material certifications before work begins.
Compliance Assurance
Ensure offshore activities conform to approved drawings, codes, and specifications.
Validate that only authorized deviations are accepted.
Review P&IDs, isometrics, GA drawings, electrical single-lines, and hook-up packs for accuracy.
Safety & Regulatory Oversight
Confirm adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Documentation & Records
Maintain inspection records and ensure traceability of materials and processes.
Document non-conformances and initiate corrective/preventive actions.
Leadership & Coordination
Supervise junior inspectors and provide technical guidance.
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve quality issues.
Act as a subject matter expert, sharing best practices and improving inspection discipline.
Experience Required
10-12 years of QA/QC inspection experience in Oil & Gas, with at least 5 years offshore
Proven expertise in welding inspection, fabrication, piping, structural steel, and coating activities.
Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASME, API, ASTM, ISO, AWS).
Experience in reviewing Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and Quality Control Procedures.
Ability to interpret P&IDs, isometrics, GA drawings, electrical single-lines, and hook-up packs.
