Role Summary:

This is a senior-level role combining expertise in IT infrastructure, networking, and VoIP systems. You'll be responsible for maintaining and developing a distributed, high-load infrastructure across multiple data centers, supporting telephony systems, ensuring uptime, traffic quality, and secure operations. The role includes both strategic planning and hands-on engineering work.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Infrastructure & Network:

Ensure the

uninterrupted operation

of IT systems in multiple data centers (in different countries) and virtual infrastructure segments.

Plan, budget

, and

execute development

of the company's IT infrastructure. Manage and expand a distributed network of

virtual SIP servers

, including

multi-region

deployments and

HA clusters

. Design and implement

replication, backup, and failover schemes

for mission-critical systems. Administer and scale IP networks based on

Cisco

and

MikroTik

. Maintain

HP-based physical server infrastructure

. Set up and operate

Zabbix monitoring

for real-time visibility of load, channel capacity, SLA metrics, and failure points. Handle incident reports, conduct root cause analysis, and manage communication with providers and partners.

VoIP, SIP & Telephony Systems:

Administer and develop

SIP/VoIP

infrastructure across multiple countries. Deep diagnostics of

SIP/RTP traffic

using tools like

sngrep, tcpdump, Wireshark

. Set up, monitor, and optimize

SIP trunks, GSM gateways, telephony clusters,

and

operator integrations

. Support and maintain

FreeSwitch, Asterisk, AVAYA, FLAT Softswitch systems

. Perform diagnostics, traffic management, and fine-tuning of routing and SIP logic. Troubleshoot complex call routing issues and implement effective routing failovers.

Requirements

Must-have Experience & Skills:

Solid experience (5+ years) in

VoIP/telecom infrastructure, including SIP architecture, PBX systems, and IP telephony.

Strong knowledge of

Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian)

and

Windows

Server administration. Practical expertise in

scripting and automation

for system administration (e.g., Bash, Python). Experience configuring and administering key network services:

IP routing, DNS, DHCP, Squid, IPsec.

Deep understanding of networking (

CCNA level and higher

)

: VLAN, BGP, OSPF, VPN, SSTP.

5+ years

working with

Cisco and MikroTik

hardware in complex environments. Experience in

network perimeter protection

and traffic control. Confident working with

HP server hardware

and diagnostics. Familiarity with

modern VoIP protocols

: SIP, H.323, WebRTC, RTP. English proficiency sufficient for fluent technical chat communication (Slack, email, ticketing).

Nice to Have

Experience working in a multi-country infrastructure with strict SLAs. Experience with carrier-grade voice platforms and telecom SaaS environments. Background in telecom integration with business communication systems (CRM, call analytics, etc.).

Required language skills:

English: Upper intermediate+ (required) Russian (preferred)
