We are currently looking for a highly experience Senior Export/Import Specialist with years of experience in shipping transactions : Export

Preparation of export documentation (packing list, commercial invoice, BL draft, COO)
Booking of container and coordination with shipping forwarder for the submission of documents
Assist freight forwarders and customs brokers with import and export issues associated with all shipments.
Assist accounts team for the preparation and submission for LC documentation
Process and ensure accuracy of customs documentation.
Communicate with Consignee/Client shipping agent for document and details verification
Communicate with Sister Company for the clearance of goods and details verification
Track, trace and report shipments
Understanding the export freight costs and preparation of data for export freight cost
Maintain all files and paperwork relating to import/export matters.
All other duties as required or needed.

Import

Communicate with suppliers for import documentation.
Process and ensure accuracy of customs documentation.
Understanding the export freight costs and preparation of data for export freight cost
Maintain all files and paperwork relating to import/export matters.
All other duties as required or needed.

Requirement:

5 + years Import/Export experience in a manufacturing or trading environment especially in fresh fruits and vegetables

Skills

Advance knowledge in preparation of shipping documentation (BL, packing List, Commercial Invoice, COO and LC preparation and submission) and Customs rules and regulation.
Knowledge of U.A.E. Customs Rules and Regulations.
Knowledge of Ethiopia Customs Rules and Regulations is a plus
Advance skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and MS outlook)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills..
Excellent organization and time management skills
