Job Summary:

The HVAC Engineer is responsible for the design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The role ensures that all HVAC systems operate efficiently, meet project specifications, and comply with safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop HVAC systems in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards. Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and load calculations using AutoCAD and relevant software. Review and verify HVAC shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements. Coordinate with architects, electrical engineers, and other disciplines to ensure smooth integration of systems. Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning activities on-site. Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to design, safety, and quality standards. Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC-related technical issues during project execution. Prepare and maintain documentation, including reports, inspection checklists, and as-built drawings. Ensure compliance with local authority regulations (ASHRAE, SMACNA, etc.). Support maintenance teams with preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HVAC design and site execution (GCC experience preferred). Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, load calculations, duct sizing, chilled water systems, and ventilation design. Proficiency in AutoCAD, HAP, Revit, or similar design software. Good understanding of MEP coordination and construction processes. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
